Jason Hoeppner
Pharmacist/OwnerJason is a 2001 University of Manitoba Faculty of Pharmacy Grad. He is Certified Diabetes Educator and has also completed the University of Toronto's Advanced Cardiology Pharmacy Practice program. After a year of community practice, Jason worked at the St. Boniface Hospital Pharmacy department for 10 years, focusing on cardiology medications and diabetes management. In 2012, Jason opened The Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy at 660 Osborne St. He enjoys The Medicine Shoppe because it gives him an opportunity to get to know his clients well and help them achieve their best health.
Monica
Certified Pharmacy Technician/Ideal Protein Head CoachMonica joined The Medicine Shoppe in it's first year and has quickly become an invaluable team member. Her organizational skills and strong work ethic ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes in the pharmacy. Monica is also the Head Coach for the Ideal Protein Weight Loss program at The Medicine Shoppe. She enjoys helping her clients improve their health by achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.
Shara
Pharmacy Assistant/Certified Compression FitterShara joined The Medicine Shoppe in 2015. Her years of prior experience in the pharmacy field benefit The Medicine Shoppe by giving fresh perspective to the challenges that our clients face. She is also a Certified Compression Fitter and enjoys improving her clients' leg health by ensuring their compression garments fit properly.
Rick
PharmacistRick is an experienced pharmacist with many years of practice in both the community and hospital settings. He worked for many years at St. Boniface Hospital in the areas of mental health and drug information. Rick is also a Guest Lecturer at the University of Manitoba, teaching pharmacy and medicine students about medications for mental health conditions.
